There's a CATHY comic strip where Cathy puts off writing a thank-you note to the point it needs to be a letter and then puts that off to the point it needs to be a long letter and then...I forget, but she probably says "AACCCK!"

That's not exactly where I'm at but it's hauntingly familiar.
